How to Grill Pork Loin
Step 1: Prepare the Pork
Remove the pork from the packaging, then pat dry. Using a knife, make slits all around the pork, making a diamond pattern.

Step 2: Season the Pork
Combine all the rub ingredients in a bowl, then season the pork loin, covering it on all sides. Use four tablespoons of store-bought rub if you don’t want to make your rub.

Step 3: Grill the Pork
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the pork on the grill and cook for approximately 60-90 minutes, turning it occasionally to ensure even cooking. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Step 4: Rest and Slice
Remove the pork from the grill and tent it with foil. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes to retain its juices.

What Internal Temperature You Need to Reach
To ensure safety and optimal flavor, grilled pork loin must reach an internal temperature of 145°F. Cooking the pork to this temperature guarantees the meat remains juicy and tender. To accurately check the internal temperature, use a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the pork loin, avoiding any bones.
Once it hits 145°F, remove the pork from the grill and rest for 10 minutes. This resting period allows the juices to be redistributed, resulting in a flavorful and succulent dish.
How To Store Leftovers
To store leftover grilled pork loin, first allow it to cool to room temperature before packaging. To prevent moisture loss and preserve flavor, wrap the pork tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil or place it in an airtight container.
Refrigerate the leftovers promptly. They should be consumed within 3 to 4 days for the best taste and quality. If you want to keep the pork longer, consider freezing it; slice the pork loin into portions, wrap each piece securely, and store it in a freezer-safe container or bag.
